I will be going to Australia again… Back to Melbourne? No, this time to Adelaide… What for? It’s for a further study.. at University of South Australia (UniSA), School of Commerce to be precised. Alhamdulillah, Thanks God.. I have been awarded UniSA and CAGS scholarships to undertake a PhD degree. I will be studying carbon accountingunder supervision Prof. Janek Ranatunga.
I am grateful to Michaela Rankin and Carolyn Windsor for their thoughtful guidance and supports in writing my Master thesis. The thesis has enabled me to get the UniSA and CAGS scholarships. Special thanks also go to Carla Wilkin and Tatang Ary Gumanti. Thank you for all supports in applying PhD scholarship.

I am a PhD student in Environmental Science, Gadjah Mada University. I apply for a sandwich-like program offered by DIKTI with host professor Prof. Janek. The topics of the study is carbonomics. I hope you’re fine and enjoy there. A days ago I get a news that there is also an Indonesia Ph.D student that study in University of South Australia, too. His name is Mr. Hari Prasetyo. His reseach topic is “Supply Chain Management”. He is a lecturer at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Have you ever met him?
Alhamdulillah, I passed the selection of Sandwich-like program of Dikti and I plan to go in middle of August 2010 for two months.
Would you please give information about ticketing, accommodation, and anything I have to prepare before I go there.

So nice to know you. I am undertaking research in carbonomics supervised by Prof. Janek. I am sooo lucky to have him, the carbonomics expert, as my supervisor. Well.. I can say that it’s more than enjoy studying here.. Inspite of falling in love with the topic, I feel excited.. fun.. to working in a supportive academic environment in UniSA.
