After publishing NGERS-Regulation Policy Paper, this is an email from Department of Climate Change announcing the NGER Regulations 2008:
Dear Stakeholder
The Department of Climate Change is pleased to announce that the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Regulations 2008 (NGER Regulations) and the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008 (NGER Determination) have been listed on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI). A new National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System Calculator to help corporations estimate their emissions and energy use is also now available online.

NGERS: Regulations Policy Paper
April 2, 2008Department of Climate Change released this Regulation Policy Paper on 4 February 2008. The paper indicates potential Government policy position under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 (‘the Act’) and seeks feedbacks from Australian public. Interested parties can write their comment and submit it via email by 28 February 2008. Inspite of informing stakeholders, the policy paper aims to support future Australian emission trading scheme (AETS) proposed in 2010.
